Sunday, September 14, 2008

The Stockton Ports won Game 4 9-3 to win the best of five California League Championship Series three games to one.  Stockton scored six runs in the top of the seventh inning to break open a tight game and take a 7-1 lead.  The Ports added two more in the top of the ninth, then cut short a Lancaster rally to take the game and the series.   Neither team had scored  until the bottom of the fifth when Lancaster took a 1-0  lead on a sacrafice fly by  Yamaico  Navarro scored  Aaron Reza.   Stockton added a run in the top of the sixth, then took control in the seventh.
