Orange County Wins GBL SouthFlyers take game five 12-2.Monday, September 8, 2008 The Orange County Flyers put an end to the Long Beach Armada late season surge with a 12-2 victory Sunday night. The hard fought, back and forth five game series featured three close game with two ending in extra innings, a near brawl, and a game ending on with an injury to MVP candidate Pat Breen. That made Sunday's blowout seem somewhat anticlimatic, with Orange County taking a 4-1 lead after the first inning and never looking back. The series now moves to Calgary for a best of five series against the Vipers for the GBL Championship. The series will move back to Fullerton for the weekend.
