Nothing Happening in Lake Elsinore, Tonight…Besides the Game
Storm Holding "Nothing" Night.
Monday, July 7, 2008
In what has to be one of the more expensive “promotions” a team could hold, Lake Elsinore is hosting their annual “nothing” game tonight at 7:08 against the Bakersfield Blaze. What is a “nothing” game? Exactly that…nothing! No tickets sales (sit wherever you like), no concessions, no restaurant, no public address announcer, no promotions, no inter-inning entertainment. Just the game itself and the solitude of a few thousand fans. Visitors will be allowed to bring in food and beverages except alcohol or anything in a glass container.
I have heard of these kinds of promotions, but have never been to one. If you happen to be in attendance, please let me know what it was like.
