Fresno State Takes NCAA Title


Take 2 of 3 against Georgia.

Although this site is dedicated to professional baseball at all levels, we would be remiss if we didn't congratulate the Fresno State Bulldogs for winning the College World Series.  Fresno beat the Georgia Bulldogs 6-1 on Wednesday to take the NCAA National Championship.  The unlikely champs from Fresno played their hearts out in a true Cinderella role along the way, eventually taking 2 of 3 games from the Georgia Bulldogs to take the title.
