River Cats Take Third Straight Division Title


Reno's Loss to Las Vegas Secures Eighth Title in Ten Years

Despite a 6-3 loss to Fresno Thursday night, the Sacramento River Cats secured their third straight Pacific Coast League Pacific South division title with Reno's 1-0 loss to Las Vegas.  The defending PCL and Triple-A champions have secured their eighth division title since moving to Sacramento ten years ago.

The River Cats will likely face either Colorado Springs or Tacoma in the Pacific Conference finals, likely to start September 9.
