Andy Skeels Promoted from Low-A Augusta

The Steve Decker era is over in San Jose.  The San Jose Giants announced Andy Skeels will take over after a very successful campaign in Augusta (Low-A).  In just his first year as manager, Skeel's GreenJackets dominated the South Atlantic League in route to an 88-50 record and a league championship.  Meanwhile, Steve Decker is expected to be named manager at Double-A Connecticut.  Decker's team in San Jose was nearly equally as dominant with an 80-55 record, but ultimately lost to eventual Cal League champs Stockton in the second round of the playoffs.
