Chico Outlaws Announced New Manager

Former Major Leaguer Greg Cadaret to Take the Helm

Monday, December 8, 2008

The Chico Outlaws introduced Greg Cadaret as their new skipper at a press conference last week.  Cadaret played in the major leagues for 10 seasons, mostly as a relief pitcher.  He was originally drafted by the Oakland Athletics and played his first two major league seasons with the A’s before being traded to the Yankees after the 1988 season.  Caderet also played with Cincinnati, Kansas City, Toronto, Detroit, Anaheim, and Texas.  He is the third Outlaws manager in the teams five year history.

The 46-year-old Cadaret lives in Shasta County and has coached youth, collegiate, and summer collegiate league baseball.
