New Manager for Inland Empire


Carlos Subero replaces promoted skipper.

The Los Angeles Dodger promoted former Inland Empire Manager John Valentin to their new Double AA affiliate in Chattanooga, and replaced him with Carlos Subero.  Subero comes to the Dogers organization from the White Sox, where he was manager of the team Double A affiliate in Birmingham last season.  He led the Barons to a first half South Division title in the Southern League, although the team finished only one game out over .500 for the season and was swept in the first round of the playoffs by the Mississippi Braves.
